 The marriage broke up with Kevin Federline and also when her children were taken out of her custody which really affected her.  So that was also a huge factor.  Not only this, he started surrounding himself with some very shady people.  She became involved with this guy named Sam Lofty, who became her manager, and many people believe that Sam was the one who gave Britney Spears the drugs.  Besides, he was very controlling.  He was controlling her life and her finances.  and her family is starting to worry a lot that her family didn't trust her at all and I feel like she played a big part in Britney's mental breakdown Britney eventually unknowingly put in a mental facility  Given and her father Jamie Spears was also found to stereotype Britney and a lot of Britney fans believe that her father did so under Lou Taylor, the former business manager of Britney's Council.
